Psychological support

If you are looking for psychological support following a diagnosis, we develop a bespoke and personalised approach tailored to each individual. We work together with you to build a shared understanding of your experiences. Our clinical psychology training means we can provide a range of approaches including:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). How we think affects how we feel and what we do. This approach helps us change, adapt and learn new ways of coping.

  • Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT). Encourages people to be compassionate towards themselves and others. It supports people to manage feelings of shame and self criticism.

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Helps people to understand and accept difficult feelings and develop skills to manage and make positive changes.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Combines acceptance and mindfulness based strategies to reduce the impact and avoidance of difficult thoughts and feelings.
